SOCCEROOS -
Forever Golden Campaign
(Gaffer)
The brand platform by M+C Saatchi reframes Australia's men's team as a modern cultural force ahead of its sixth straight World Cup appearance.
Shot by one of our favourite collaborators; Billy Zammit, this was captured in the carpark of a hotel in the city; with barely any time for each member, he nailed the shots, and the M+C Saatchi team did an unreal job on the edit.
Published all around the city on billboards + buses, I’m super stoked to have been a part of this one for the Australian Soccer team.
Breville - Oracle Touch NOIR

Directed by probably my favourite director in the world right now - Will Suen (and DOP’d by them too)
With the help of my good friend Matt Roper (best), we put together a lighting solution that allowed us to create a simulated day-to-night lighting transition; blacking out the entire (tall ceiling) windows, placing our key light on a dolly that was moved alongside the windows; whilst other lights pushed into ultrabounce shifted within the same colour temperature alongside the key. My favourite addition is the Aputure MC light magnetically mounted to the back of the machine (final shot).

Start From Scratch
(Gaffer)
Shot in my favourite venue in Sydney, “The Vangard”, this one comes courtesy of Killa Kreative (Prod. Co)
Guided by the talented Callum Duddington (DOP), I ran around the venue without a best person, blacking out daylight from one end of the bar, and combining stage lighting with haze, spotlights, and various battery powered sources to create streams of interest - all whilst keeping in mind that the robot arm camera needed to make 180 degree turns for many shots (how do you hide lights?).
Our favourite shot comes at the end; pushing into a dramatic stylised lighting direction.
Temgazi - Voodoo

Another from Killa Kreative (Prod. Co), this one took place in the same area I shot my first music video; the beautiful volcanic rocks of Kiama.
Working with just battery power + what could be supplied from a 4KVA generator, we used a combination of Aputure 60X, 300X, 1200D & Titan tubes to create pools of light (pun intended) along the rocky surfaces of this beautiful location. The song & visuals compliment each other perfectly, thanks to the styling team & the magic duo of Darwin Schulze & Adam Saunders - special note is the NERF 3D rotations that showcase the setup!
Zero Stress - Love Bites
(Gaffer)
During a 1987 highschool prom, two star crossed lovers must overcome social hierarchy and their demonic faculty of teachers in order to reunite and destroy evil at the speed of love.
For lighting we brought out all the kit! Literally every single light we had at the time was used on this shoot; one of the first shoots we’d gaffed.
Shot over two days by the beautiful Jamie Gray, and supported by my best Adrian Wulf (first time together!), we cooked up a palette of rich 80’s nostalgia & gore.
Definitely super fun!
